Server Type: Official

Current Plug-ins Running for Server:
Server Messages (SpamBot): Provides messages to the server every two and a half minutes.
Swear Logger (Procon Rulz): Warns users using racial slurs, then logs the players information to be reviewed by an admin.
Admin Notification (Notify Me): Notifies Admins when someone uses a racial slur.  Also allows users to request admin help by using @calladmin <message>

Change log:
No changes have been made at this time.

Donator News:
All current donators are set to expire on March 1, 2014.  We will be coming up with some new donator perks soon.

(As was predicted, the impact of not having the quick-join traffic is huge.)

Had to restart about an hour ago.  About half the people came back after I announced I was resetting so not bad I suppose.

Maybe two more months and then there would be enough people built up to keep the joining to the awesome level.

Also couldn't hurt if dice actually fixed the game.

Real life shite got in the way last night forcing me to renegue on my earlier promise.

I will endeavour to find some time to be active in the server at various points over the weekend, though. :)

From what Gimpo said, it sounds like quite a few people have actually been reading the in-game message and adding EC-BF4 to their BattleNet favourites list, which is very good to see! :)

(It's not just you, Hobo. It seems the whole internet is aflame with such statements. So consider this rebuttal as a response to the masses making similar statements and not you personally.)

EA, as the publisher, hold the purse strings and set the deadlines. EA's faceless marketing division in a boardroom somewhere forced the game onto the market in time for Christmas sales and to compete with the concurrent COD-Ghosts release. DICE are the developers (a bunch of humble folk like you or I, frantically working overtime at a massive task-list and barely seeing their families), not the marketeers. DICE knew it wasn't ready, and that there where many bugs yet to be fixed, but their hands are tied by EA. DICE have made (and are still working very hard on) a truly fantastic game and should be applauded for it. They are not in charge of how it gets rolled out to the masses.
(This rant sponsored by my many years working as a frustrated/overworked games programmer, under the thumb of arsehole publishers.)  ;D

Interesting... I never really thought about it on that side. I guess that's why ME3 came out  messed up on launch day.

O well it just proves how immature I am lol.

Tweaked the auto balancer today.
* Used a template which should keep teams fair (says 90% of games are a 200 ticket difference tops).  
* Added all members and donators to the whitelist.  You'll never get switched.
* Need a list of frequent players to add to a list so they won't get switched unless absolutely necessary.
* Also need a list of frequent players that will ONLY fly jets, helicopters, etc. for killcounts.

Also, adjusted the latency kicker a slight bit.  
* Max ping is now at 300 ping.  Checks 30 times, with a max of 50% ping checks >300 required before kicking.

Anything else I should add at this time?

Well its been dead quiet on the server. as much as I hate to say it... I recommend switching to official mode.

Server is quite full now, so I guess we'll have to put up with asshats. Perhaps some of us should petition or email EA to have some kick control or votekick function.
