ok i found my old 6 disks and reloaded COD2 today. I finally found the server IP and try to connect but no luck..i just spin and spin.

Is there anything i need to do...patch/update to be able to play...its been years since i touched this game. Thanks

You might need patch 1.3. Not sure though.

Yup, make sure you're up to date with the 1.3 patch and also double check you have downloads on for the mod and custom maps to load up and work correctly.

Are you connecting via the /connect command or finding the server in the server list? If you see it in the server list, you should be running 1.3. If not, then you need to update.....I think lol.
