Not very many people can pull this off, but these women have proven it over an over again (hence, they were chosen for this performance).  The boys seem pretty overwhelmed....looks like Jimmy wants to jump down on stage and join them.

You know it's good when Robert's eyes tear up.

Speaking of which, my dad had his album collection stolen from storage (full Zeppelin, Rush, Kiss, Ozzy, etc sets) a few months back, so I picked up a bunch to give to him for Christmas.  I then picked up a turntable/stereo combo (cheap set) just to make sure they all sounded okay.  Yeah, bad idea.  Now we're going to be sharing those albums.  Looking around for a good deal on an old turntable now.

PS Mint Zeppelin albums are pricey.   Razz

Love the sound of vinyl.  Bought my Technics D2 at a garage sale for $25.

I'm having a hard time finding anything for under $150 around here.  Garage sale season is over so I just have to keep an eye out on craigslist and such.

We have a Victrola in the basement with about a thousand steel needles laying around in it. Also some LPs and 78's in the storage compartment. Really old shit. The spring in it doesn't wind the motor anymore but I bet it can be repaired.

Lost a bidding war on a Pioneer PL-112D.   Confused

However, if someone would be so kind to buy me this sexy beast, I would love you long time.

I've gotten quite a few LP's, well, my parents do, but they are stored at my place sooooo.....mine. I wish I still had that player I used to have. It was pretty huge, but played well. I don't even know what happened to it. Looked kinda like This One, only had sliding doors in the center and slightly different styling. Man why was my younger self so stoopid lol.

Went to some garage sales and the flea market (Hartville, Tater) and snagged a decent turntable, receiver and some better speakers.  Also raked in probably 100-ish albums including some Floyd, Journey, Johnny Cash, Clapton, & Beatles.  Albums averaged out at ~ $1 a pop, which I am surprised.

Found a Kenwood KD-47F in the trash next to the curb. Picked it up and put a new stylus in it (that was the only problem, that and the belt and stuff needed put back together). Plays a charm. I have an onkyo TX-SR606 reciever with paradigm front bookshelf speakers, a MK powered subwoofer, a Optimus center channel, and rear JBL satellites. I also have 2 cassette decks, a Harman/Kardon CD291 and an Onkyo TA-2140 (ebay and yard sale finds), and a Yamaha C-80 preamp. It gets input to the line in on my X-fi sound card then back out to my reciever through multi channel input. I like a lot of older music. I hate today's music, some rock bands are ok, metal, etc. But i mostly hate the shit they play on the radio. Just total shit. Give me some genesis, or fleetwood mac, Foreigner, etc I'm happy. Also like trance/progressive dubstep, electronic music.

You'll be happy to know I picked up a few Blood Sweat and Tears albums the other weekend.  I'm still going through and cleaning all the albums I got.  I've been doing ~5 every other day.  It's a long process.   Confused

As long as it's not Justin fagger, Dicki Minaj, or Wrong direction, or any of that mainstream bullshit they play on the radio, i'm fine with it, oh and country is total shit too. Lovin' the 80's and the classic rock.
