Not too worried if you list your monitor and such but it would be interesting to see how many people prefer CRT's over LCD's.I myself am using a 17 inch CRT flat screen as I've always noticed minor lag with LCD's no matter what one's I've tried.

If you guys have any suggestions on what to upgrade in my antique that would improve gaming experience I would greatly appreciated

And Basic...... I WANT my COOKIE!
your specs arent too bad herta.... Were you still thinking of getting an alienware like you had told me ? The RAM could be upgraded to about 2 gigs the video card is alright unless u want to crank it up higher..
a decent dual core system like a core 2 with 2 gigs of ram and like a 9800 gt or somethin like that would suit you but it depends on what games u want to play.
Definitely want some more ram Herta.I promise you that you will see probably a 40% increase in performance if you had at least a gig of ram.
And you probably wouldn't want to get a bigger LCD without getting a better video card first.Just need more ram trust me it will make a big difference.
ive had this for bout a year now,and im about ready to upgrade a bit.

Because i may be able to upgrade the system but not my pitiful skill.
